Amused
Some things never get old. Take laughter, for example: even when you already know the punch-line to an old joke or can anticipate the surprise, all of us find it easy to laugh again. My daughter loves to watch the old black and white reruns of the I Love Lucy show. Since I grew up watching Lucy I’ve seen most of the episodes before. But they never get old. And I find myself laughing with my daughter at the same skits I enjoyed forty years ago. Humor, I realize, is a gift that spans generations. We should all laugh more.
Day 10 Guide
Today, look for humor. Commit yourself to finding the surprises, they’re everywhere but easy to overlook. Lighten up.
